Lynden Township has adopted a comprehensive plan for management of future growth. The plan is governed by the Comprehensive Plan Growth Map. As is evident on the map, Lynden Township anticipates future growth radiating out from the city of Clearwater at such time when city services become available.

The text of the Comprehensive Plan was originally written in 2002 and has not been updated since 2009. The Township Board and Planning Commission will review the Comprehensive Plan for updates some time in the future.
