What is my email username and password?
Your username is setup as follows: firstname.lastname@lyndentownship.net and your password was given to you. If you need to reset this, please contact James Kantor.

What information do I need for an email client?
To configure an e-mail client, such as Outlook, or Mozilla Thunderbird, you will need the following information:

Server Type: POP3
Incoming Server: pop.1and1.com
Outgoing Server: smtp.1and1.com

Server Type: IMAP
Incoming Server: imap.1and1.com
Outgoing Server: smtp.1and1.com

E-mail Address: Your e-mail address
User Name: Your e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail password

How many emails can be sent at once?
You can send up to 99 e-mails at once.

What are the storage limits on my e-mail account?
Each mailbox has a quota of 2 GB or 100,000 e-mails. However, no single e-
mail can be larger than 100 MB.

An e-mail is made up of the e-mail text and an encoded version of any binary
attachments. As such an image file in JPEG format is encoded to base64, this
new version of the JPEG takes up more space than the actual JPEG file, due to the encoding procedures.

Because of the base64 encoding an e-mail may be limited to a size closer to 70MB.
